The Challenge
Pupils at Tahalima Primary School learned on floors in dilapidated mud structures or walked 5km+ to the
nearest school. Broken chalkboards, no desks, and unsafe conditions were the daily reality for hundreds of
rural learners. ActionAid needed comprehensive visual documentation to communicate the urgent need for
intervention and secure international donor support for school infrastructure development.
